This blog post is a little different today! :) I wanted to share a little bit of the behind-the-scenes of my senior experience process and the planning that happens when a senior books a shoot with me. I love helping my seniors prepare - the process of planning out their session is so much fun and I love getting to know them and their style. :) I book about 3-4 senior sessions a week and I think this is one of the reasons why - my seniors LOVE being themselves and choosing their own locations according to what they love and to match their personalities! This is something that is very unique - with a NK session you can choose any of 18 GORGEOUS locations (and more get added all the time). I love that I am able to do this for my clients - it guarantees that their session is unique and true to them.
Each location is in a gallery and numbered - the senior sends me their top choices and then I put them in order according to the best light. Locations vary from classy to rustic to modern and everything in-between.
Anytime I drive through town I'm constantly on the lookout for new locations. I love finding the little spaces people drive by every day and don't even notice - even this small town has SO many photogenic places. ;)
